Startup Journey: SAFKAT Solutions

I've long believed that good food, good eating, is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime associates, food, for me, has always been an adventure. -Anthony Bourdain

Santeri and Tijam had problems finding the best restaurant for their lunch break, that would suit them both. They found that it was rather difficult to find menus, categorize them by suitability, sort by favourites and share them between each other for decision.

The problem was clear and they started to build a simple software merely just for personal use and friends. However, it hit them very soon how this was an actual problem for most people, without any solution.

Eat, sleep and repeat. I know how much I sleep and what I repeat, but what do I actually eat? Do you know? Can you tell me? From that small chain of thoughts sprung the idea behind SAFKAT Solutions.

We focus on making the ingredients in a restaurant transparent to the consumer and restaurant employees with a desktop and corresponding mobile application with food data.

600 million AdBlock users prove how advertisement is seen extremely annoying and us millenials are harder and harder to reach. That’s okay. Three quarters of all people in the world are observant of a specific or multiple diets. Let us help you seek what suits you.
