When you are starting a business it is essential to have the right networks and knowledge. Inspiration and real life example are key for students on the start of their entrepreneurship path. Best way to get the information and networks to the students is to go where they are. That is why we are expanding our actions more to the campus area with Boost Academy innovation space.

Boost Academy is located in an old wooden building in (Arwidssoninkatu 3B) and it is conveniently located between Åbo Akademi and University of Turku. Being more active in the campus area will not only give a low threshold touching point to entrepreneurship for more students, but it will also encourage students to become more active in developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turku (whether it's volunteering in events like SHIFT or building their own companies).

Boost Academy is an open innovation space for all the students in Turku. In the premises people can get excited about entrepreneurship, build multi disciplinary teams and validate business ideas. Couple of more experienced in house entrepreneurs will mentor with the processes.

Now it's the right time to build more Turku based success stories!

Also this autumn will bring lot of cool stuff! Our open events in Sparkup will continue and for example this October first ever Startup Weekend Turku will be arranged! But more info about upcoming events later this month!
