The construction industry has a problem. Tools get misplaced, lost and stolen at alarming rates. This problem can easily cost a smaller construction company up to half of their annual profit and can cause serious delays when key equipment is stolen or lost.

We at Acutra are committed to fixing this problem.

We have been talking to construction companies of various sizes and have had interest from some of the largest construction companies in the country. We are developing a solution based on existing technologies that have not previously been utilised effectively in tackling this problem, chiefly among them is GPS.

GPS has previously been considered too power inefficient to use for tracking tools but we have found a way to increase the battery up to half a year.
