Startup Journey feelings: Bluezone
Startup Journey was an awesome experience. We got to meet lots of new people from various fields of business. This helped us to step outside from our box. We must mention that we got lots of new friends from Startup Journey and weekly BBQ event is an awesome concept. In addition to friends we also met multiple high level mentors from all around the world. Startup Journey also gave us a proper timeline to follow for a whole summer. Overall Startup Journey 2018 was a great experience and we can highly recommend all to participate.
After the demo day we have taken steps towards commercial success. The most important steps have happened at our HR sector. We found a new team member. His name is Jorge and he comes from China (originally from Spain). Jorge brings a massive amount of talent for software side. In addition to Jorge, we got a master thesis internship from Poland. Her name is Marta and she will work with us approximately for half a year with business and regulatory matters. In addition to Jorge and Marta we also got Lassi and Lauri from University of applied sciences to make their thesis with us. Thesis is strongly related to market research and we are very happy to work with these two gentlemen. Therefore we can say that we have 4 new individuals participating in our business.
What comes to the company itself, we applied to a famous life science accelerator and got accepted. This means that the next 6+6 months we will be accelerating our company with top level talents and best mentors we can find from Finland. On business side, next year (2019) will be big for us.
The most important advantage from Startup Journey are contacts. Another good thing is connections. Also, we have to mention new friends. To conclude, there are lots of good people participating in startup Journey in various roles and positions. These people are the most important thing we got out from Startup Journey 2018.
Those who will participate, please have fun and go beyond your limits. Startup Journey is an excellent place to take those next steps in a safe and encouraging environment. Be proactive and learn. Remember that failure is always a great place to learn new things. Someone has said that man learns from his own mistakes. A wise man learns also from others mistakes.
