Startup Journey Pre-Accelerator: A Startup Is Born

Dear passengers, the Startup Journey Pre-Accelerator spaceship has entered the second phase of its journey: validation. Boost welcomed business experts to share their knowledge through engaging workshops. And over the weekend, the Hack Day #2 took place where participants were able to pave the way for their business. Once again, teams have shown great determination to develop their startup by applying tips given by their mentors.

Workshop: Create the MVP

On Tuesday, Juha-Matti Santala stepped onto the stage to hold an enlightening workshop. The entrepreneurs learned how to create the MVP (Minimal Viable Product) and run tests with it. Each team were then put into breakout rooms during the session to complete the tasks and have a better understanding of their business.

Workshop: Validate the idea

Two days later, Atte Koskinen joined us virtually to explain during an interactive workshop the importance of validation and how to do it practically. He successfully handed over good pieces of advice and inspired each one of us present on board. After work, Boost crew invited all startup entrepreneurs to chill in our Remo cocktail lounge to have some drink and continue building a network.

Hack Day #2

As the grand finale is approaching, all participants unleashed such great passion and desire to elevate their startup to the top during the Hack Day #2. The 1-on-1 mentoring session, starring Solja Konttu, Tuomas Wuoti, Reetta Viinanen, Tero Karinti, Einari Kurvinen, Mirza Sagdati, Liisa Lehtonen, focused on the validation of the teams’ ideas. We can tell you that we at Boost felt really inspired by all of you: coaches and participants! Keep on the good work, folks!
