Maketrade

Maketrade is an innovative startup founded by a group of university students with a mission to revolutionize the online secondhand market by making secondhand shopping as safe and easy as buying new. At its core, Maketrade is a service that enables safe and hassle-free way to buy and sell used goods online. Maketrade's escrow feature ensures safety for buyer and seller as the service holds the buyers' payment for the product and releases it to the seller after the buyer has received the agreed product.

"Encouraging consumers to choose used items over new ones is a step towards a more environmentally friendly consumption culture." says Maketrade’s Co-founder Saska Saveljeff. With a focus on sustainability and smart consumption, Maketrade is not just facilitating safer trade but also promoting an eco-friendly approach to buying and selling, contributing to a circular economy that benefits society at large.

Boost has played important role in the beginning of the company’s journey. Maketrade’s Co-founder Vilho Eriksson shared, “Being part of the Boost community has accelerated our learning a lot. Boost has been very supportive and offered great experiences, whether it's meeting new people or getting a chance to talk with more experienced entrepreneurs.
